About Fengshui

An art which is more than 4,000 years old – and gaining increased interest –Feng Shui has captured the attention of millions of people from different cultures throughout the world. The fundamentals of feng shui relate to balancing your environment. The interactions of the Solar System or Heaven and the Living Environment (Mother Earth) an how these relate to all of us who are existing in between are seen in the fundament teachings of all schools of Feng Shui; The 5 Elements is a recognized system in Chinese metaphysics, it is said to govern the law of exchange and order in the Universe. These five elements are : metal, water, wood, fire and earth, each element has yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) aspects, which can produce a negative or positive effect – depending on the way in which they are fused.

By applying feng Shui techniques, negative energy is neutralized using the concept of the five elements, thus enhancing the positive. Applying Feng Shui in today’s urban society can be challenging, but it’s the ultimate art of creating a harmonious environment. A consistent flow of healthy natural energy, also known as qi or chi not only enhances creativity and improves an individual’s wellbeing and relationships; it also promotes wealth, prosperity and abundance.

Feng Shui is about making your environment “sacred' to you and those living in it. In the physical sense, you arrange the furniture in your space in a harmonious nature to achieve a balance and allow for the harnessing of quality chi or pure energy. To be able to tap into the fullness of the energy around you, you need to know what you want to accomplish - for some Feng Shui may translate as a mean to gain more wealth or money but one must not neglect the importance of good health and harmonious relationships.

There is still outdated idea like: “Feng Shui is only for the rich and the famous.” Until about decade ago, this may have been true as the society then had larger gaps between the rich and your everyday person and family. Not anymore!

The phrase “Bad Feng Shui” simply means that the environment is non beneficial to its dwellers and can have ill effects to those living in it.

The most common believe today about Feng Shui is that it creates wealth & prosperity, the concept of creating a “Balance & Harmonious " environment for positive flow seem to elude many.

Today, we live in a world of science, technology and information, we have the freedom to choose wheher to use symbolic objects or not to use as cures and enhancements. There are alternatives to using artifacts such as : colors, natural stones and crystals and pictures s I also like to take this opportunity to express that “ Crystals ” are not exclusive to any esoteric school, cultures or religions with that they may have been associated with. All natural crystals and precious stones including rubies, sapphires or diamonds are know to have healing effecting and enhancing qualities

In our multi-cultured society, I believe that we can tailor the remedies and cures as closely as possible to fit the client's lifestyle and belief system. In this manner, Feng Shui become suitable for everyone, regardless of ethnic group or belief system

As a great believer that we are the creator of our own life and destiny, Feng Shui is just one way that can effectively enhance your environment for harmony and abundance.

General Information

What are the 5 elements?

The 5 elements consist of the productive and destructive cycle. Both cycles offer you information on characteristics, colors, shapes, time or season and related organs. Understanding this information can help to strengthen areas that are weak or keep in balance that which are in excess or unfavorable to you or your environment.

What are the celestial animals?

This is a principal taken from Form School – The 4 celestial animals. Originally it was used in Yin House Feng Shui to select an ideal spot to bury an ancestor's remains. Represented by The Green Dragon, White Tiger, Phoenix and Black Tortoise they are also used in Yang House (Human House) for selecting suitable properties.

These are also symbols of enhancement that can be used in interior designs. The green dragon brings abundance to the home, the white tiger gives protection, the red phoenix brings opportunities and success and the black tortoise offers support.
